About Uruguay
Zones with similar skills and use - Indicative pricing*
Indicative price per zone: to evaluate the price of an agricultural establishment, a number of factors should be considered. The most significant are:
LAND SUITABILITY (Agricultural, livestock, forestry, etc.).
QUALITY: Suitability for agriculture, breeding or wintering; potential for improvement; ability for special crops such as rice and afforestation; conservation status of the improvements, natural watering, types of pasture, virgin soils, etc.
LIMITATIONS: flooded fields, rock outcrops, clay horizons, slopes, etc.
LOCATION: Proximity to capital cities or towns; distance to national and local routes, ease of access.
HOUSING AND JOB FACILITIES: Existence of comfortable buildings, electrical energy, telephone, facilities to work with ranches: artificial watering, artificial woodlands, barns and staff housing.
SITUATION OF MAINTENANCE: Wire fences, housing, installations, minor roads, etc.
AREA: According to region and use.

* In this map of Uruguay we have tried to identify homogeneous areas (at country-scale) concerning the current and potential use of the land. It should be noted that this regionalization took into account the prevailing current activity, so that within a single area may exist current and potential uses, other than those listed.
